Dr Drucker’s aesthetic therapies fall into two broad categories:
Medical treatments
The treatment of a wide range of chronic conditions, such as migraine, muscle injuries, poor blood circulation, arthritis, and scarring resulting from a host of causes (eg acne, psoriasis and operations).
Aesthetic treatments
Treatments that help to reverse the signs of ageing, lifting and smoothing wrinkled and/or sagging skin, improving skin elasticity, and plumping up lips.
Other therapies that bridge the anti-ageing and medical categories include the reversal of hair-loss and the removal of excessive fat deposits, thus enabling weight-loss.
All these therapies are carried out using non-surgical aesthetic treatments, which are gentle and non-invasive.
Many of the anti-ageing aesthetic treatments have some overlap with our bio-identical hormone replacement therapies (BHRT), which have been found to be hugely effective in holding back the ageing process. Go to our BHRT section to find out more about this area of our work.
Our treatments
At Hebe Medical, Dr Berlinde Drucker brings years of medical experience to bear in applying these simple techniques. She offers the following treatments:
Bioremodelling with injections of collagen or hyaluronic acid
Injections of Profhilo (a hyaluronic acid formulation) to promote the skin's own production of collagen and elastin, remodelling the face's structure, removing sagging, hollows, lines and wrinkles, resulting in a fuller, more youthful face.
Long-term skin care and rejuvenation with a collagen-rich nutritional drink
An enriching nutritional collagen-rich drink that, taken daily, has enormous effects on the entire body’s skin, softening, smoothing and hydrating the skin, leaving it fuller and more youthful.
Carboxy and oxygen therapies
Carboxy (the application of carbon dioxide) and oxygen therapies, usually given in combination, can be used in a huge range of anti-ageing and medical therapies. These range from simply toning and revitalising facial skin, through to treatment of scarring, wound healing, poor blood circulation, hair-loss, arthritis, tendinitis, psoriasis, eczema, sexual functions and many more.
Mesotherapy
Tiny multiple injections into the skin to treat a host of conditions, from simply the signs of ageing through to the reversal of hair loss in both men and women, and the care of acne and acne scarring.
Skin smoothing treatments
Injections of such agents as dermal fillers are used to restore volume and soften ageing-induced folds and sagging in the face, neck and chest. Injections into the creases, folds and sagging skin, help to restore the skin to a more youthful appearance.
Enhancement of lips
The injection of fillers into the lips to reverse the loss of shape that comes with ageing, restoring their plumpness, softness and definition, as well as removing the ‘sad’ sagging commonly seen at mouth corners.
Rejuvenation of damaged skin with the Dermapen™ and Dermaroller®
This consists of micro-needling of the skin to stimulate its own natural regeneration and repair process, causing the skin to make its own natural collagen and elastin.
Medical grade chemical peels
Peel treatments to the face, neck, decolletage, hands and body to reverse sun-induced damage and acne scarring, as well as simply to rejuvenate ageing skin.
Treatment of hyperhidrosis
Excessive sweating, usually from the armpits, is a common problem, that - once we have given you a thorough consultation to assess the treatment's appropriateness - is easily treated by tiny injections of Botulinum toxin A ('Botox') into the affected skin area(s).
Treatment of migraine headaches
Tiny injections of Botulinum toxin A ('Botox') into trigger points around the head and neck can be highly effective in the treatment of migraine-induced headaches, greatly reducing or even ending the need for pain-killing drugs.
