I presented as a patient who had been experiencing two to three tension type headaches a week for the previous fifteen years. Having received all of the relevant tests and scans available through the NHS via several GP's I found myself being referred to a Headache Specialist only to be informed that I did not meet the criteria to be treated with Botox for medical purposes under the NHS and that for my case Botox wouldn't work anyway! I was left to just accept my condition and keep taking the medication.A further two years past with no change until I sort Private help.

Dr. Berlinde Drucker, following my consultation, did administer Botox medically into my forehead and around my eyes. This was virtually painless, left me without any bruising, yet I retained the ability to facial expression. Something which both of us felt important from our discussion on the subject. I'm not a celebrity and I didn't want the 'frozen' look. I have a relaxed, natural appearance now, not stressed as before. She introduced me, after about ten days to a treatment I had not heard of before called 'Carboxy' This is a process of injecting CO2 gas (harmless) into muscle tissue which has a rejuvenating effect to encourage oxygen into poor blood circulated areas. In my case the neck and shoulders which would go into spasm under pressure or load and trigger a headache. Driving a car, carrying shopping bags or sitting reading a book had become guaranteed sources of headache. I experienced improvement very quickly and little by little I am much better than before. I have had six sessions and can now drive again without getting a headache! This is a wonderful improvement, of which I am very grateful to Dr. Drucker for.

Upon arriving I was greeted with a friendly smile & a relaxed atmosphere. I wanted to improve and enhance the contours of my lips, and also significantly reduce the lines around the naso-labial folds in my face. My treatment was practically painless, and I was advised at all times about the areas about to be injected and the results shown to me as we went along.
