Reopening for treatments post-Covid lockdown

I have some great news: we have now officially restarted our face-to-face consultations. After months of being able to manage only online and telephone consultations and no treatments, we're finally able to get going again, meeting people in the flesh, offering our full range of treatments.

In case you're wondering, medical practices run by a doctor have been cleared to reopen, unlike beauty therapists, who are not likely to be able to reopen for a few more weeks.
Inevitably, we will have to operate in a rather different way, at least for the time being, in order to maximise safety and hygiene. To that end, we've instigated a number of precautions, which seem to work well, and have proved to be very reassuring to everyone. These are as follows:

1. For the time being at least, I will be seeing patients only at my home consultation centre, in Bishopsteignton, Devon;

2. You'll be asked to come to my consultation room via the garden (through the gate to the right of the main entrance) instead of through the house;

3.You'll need to wear a mask (which I can provide if you don't have one). I'll also be wearing a mask and gloves;

4. I'll be seeing only one patient per day for the foreseeable future;

5. There will be a pre-consultation check-up over the phone the day before your appointment;

6. You'll need to confirm that, as far as you are aware, you are Covid-free and haven't been in touch with anyone with the virus in the preceding two weeks;

7. For the time being at least, to minimise the number of people in the treatment room you will have to come alone: it will not be possible to bring friends or family members.

8. Plenty of hand gel is available whenever you feel the need to sterilise your hands.

So, if you need a treatment, a review, or a consultation with blood test, just get in touch. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all!

I really look forward to hearing from you all and to seeing you again soon.
